Express Carpet & Decor offers a wide variety of rugs. For those who have a special desire,
we also provide the custom-made Hand-tufted rug to match your design and size.
Our professional staffs are ready to do the on-site measurement and price budgeting to serve your needs.

The Hand tufting process comprises of a man injecting the pile through the canvas from behind. Each pile is individually injected, the closer the tufts, the higher the density. Products of a higher density use a larger amount of material and are therefore higher price. The only variation in the production method is the material used.  At Express Carpet & Decor, all of our hand-tufted products are made with 100% high-grade material.

(Remark: Normally, the dyed colors may differ approximately 5-10%.)

Which material to choose for a rug is determined by both its durability and softness—making it a core element to consider when shopping for a new rug.
To start your search off right, we've rounded up the most common rug materials and how they stack up for different spaces.

Acrylic - Synthetic fiber for carpets & rugs

Acrylic - Synthetic fiber rugs are created to mimic the look of wool and high-quality fiber rugs at a lower price point. Because they are not made to be heirloom, investment pieces, they can be replaced more frequently with updated styles or swapped out for the seasons. They make brilliant choices for basements, laundry rooms, and kids' rooms.
A downside is that synthetic rugs generally don't have the same pleasant feel as natural fibers.
Benefits: Easy to clean, very durable, generally fade and stain resistant.

Nylon - Synthetic fiber for carpets & rugs
Nylon is a manufactured fiber that can transform into a limitless amount of colors. It resists dirt and crumbs, and you can easily clean it. It is a very strong and durable fiber that stands up to heavy traffic. It also has a silky appearance that will create a nice sheen in area rugs.

Nylon Bright - Synthetic fiber for carpets & rugs

Nylon Bright is softer than Nylon. Its sheeny property makes the rug look gracious and also gives different looks when look from different angle.  Moreover, the color of rug made of nylon bright is less vivid than rug made of nylon.  If we compare nylon bright with Bamboo silk, nylon bright is a lot more durable than Bamboo silk.

Wool - Natural fiber for carpets & rugs

Wool - Of all materials, Wool combines durability and softness the best. Resilient fibers stand up to high traffic, soft, tufted or hooked styles especially naturally repels stains and water, will absorb moisture, and can fade in sun, suitable for Living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms. Handmade wool rugs are the gold standard: soft, durable, and made to last.

Bamboo Silk - Natural fiber for carpets & rugs
Bamboo Silk gives high softness but low durability. Thus, it is not suitable for high traffic areas e.g.
door step rug because the bamboo silk will fall off easily.

Viscose - synthetic fiber for carpets & rugs
Viscose, with its lustrous sheen and silky soft texture is a truly luxurious rug material. Also known as ‘artificial silk’, bamboo silk or rayon, 100 percent viscose fiber rugs make utterly elegant floor coverings that accentuate sophisticated décor in any style room from traditional to contemporary. These rugs are best placed in low traffic areas of the home to preserve the softness and shimmer of viscose yarns.

Silk - Natural fiber for carpets & rugs
Silk is very soft, easy to dye and absorbent materials. Though it is versatile, it is not very durable on its own. It works well in a combination with wool. The fiber create depth and give rugs a beautiful sheen. The pinnacle of luxury, silk is delicate yet unrivaled for softness. The Basics- Better for low-traffic areas. Unparalleled softness and natural luster Sensitive to moisture and heavy wear. Suitable for bedroom. It's also common to see silk woven with another material to create a blended rug that's more durable or has a varied texture.
